ICM projects

Intentional Camera Movement, or ICM for short, is the process of consciously moving the camera during the shutter release. I find that the ICM technique is very good for creating beautiful light moods as well as atmospheres and at the same time emphasising contrasts, movement or shapes in the mage.

When Colors Meet

Colors are not static. They emerge, dissolve, and transform the moment they encounter one another. In their meeting, boundaries soften and new tones are born — subtle, fleeting, and alive. This work explores the space in between: where light, movement, and time allow colors to evolve beyond their original form. Layers overlap, moments blur, and what remains is not a single color, but a conversation — a quiet process of becoming.

Each encounter tells a story of transition, balance, and change.

Winter on the beach

In winter, the beach has a quiet magic of its own. The soft rush of the waves feels calmer, almost thoughtful, as they roll toward the shore. Cold, salty wind brushes across the sand and carries the cries of distant seabirds overhead. The water glimmers in shades of silver and deep blue, reflecting the pale winter sun. With fewer people around, the beach becomes a peaceful place where you can hear the whisper of the wind, watch the birds glide effortlessly above the waves, and feel the gentle power of nature all around you. Even in the colder months, the beach remains breathtaking in its simplicity and serenity.

Shining winter

I love spending time in the woods and this is where many of my images are created. Even here in winter it's a beautiful, calming place. Although I often go to the same places, I see something different every time. This time the light particularly caught my attention. It was a beautiful and cold day. The contrasts between the warm sunlight and the cold snow created beautiful, irresistible contrasts that I had to capture with my camera. For me, it also shows how much life and energy there is in the forest, even in winter, when everything feels as if it has come to a standstill.

Silence

I have always been fascinated by water. For me, nowhere is everything as calm and quiet as it is under the water. In this photo, by following the reflection of people on a bridge, I tried to make them symbolically dive into the water, and I want the viewer to feel that silence. ICM helps reinforce the peace and harmony of silence.

Homeland

I left my homeland many years ago but have always visited it regularly. In the beginning I still belonged there, but over the years things have changed. My homeland has changed, and I have changed. Do we still belong together!
